A Ryanair flight from Glasgow to Dublin was forced to turn back this morning, leaving passengers facing an unexpected delay. Flight FR, which was scheduled to depart at 7. However, during the flight, the aircraft encountered an issue, which forced the pilots to turn around, rather than continue to Dublin.
The plane landed safely back in Glasgow at 8. A passenger on board told the Irish Mirror that the incident was due to an engine problem, stating that they were informed the aircraft would be unable to fly for the rest of the day.
A Ryanair spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "This flight from Glasgow to Dublin 31 Jan returned to Glasgow due to a minor technical issue with the aircraft.
