In a wellness massage, a lot of oil is used. Friction and pressure are generated and the muscles are massaged. The physical aspect is clearly in the foreground here. With a classic massage, you usually come to the masseur with a clear idea or a specific problem from a medical point of view. A treatment, on the other hand, includes not only the physical, but also the heart or the feeling. The body is often the reflection of the soul; emotional stress is often visible. It can sometimes happen that emotions come up.
After all, as the saying goes: a massage is balm for body and soul. That all depends. In the case of tension, you should have a massage two to three times a week, over a period of three to four weeks. In most cases, this period is sufficient to alleviate symptoms and establish a certain status quo.
After that, it is enough to treat yourself to a massage from a qualified masseur every 10 or 14 days to maintain this status quo. In the case of a wellness massage with the aim of simply switching off or to recharge your batteries, the temporal frequency is of course not so decisive.
