Growing up in northern Italy, Lorenzo developed a love of sports and physical activities such as skiing, mountain biking and rock climbing. From this early age, he learned the benefits that come with nurturing one's physical health to enhance sport performance, and his journey into becoming a wellness practitioner seemed to be a natural one. Through Shiatsu he learned the importance of treating clients as whole- mind, body and spirit. To achieve this, Lorenzo really listens to his client's verbal and non verbal cues to understand their true mental and physical feelings.
The result is a treatment approach that has a tailored and adapted touch to help restore their inner balance. His passion for sports lead him to continue his education at The London School of Massage and specialise in Sports Massage.
The Level 4 ITEC qualification has increased Lorenzo's knowledge of anatomy and physiology, ability to effectively treat deeper into muscles, and his confidence at providing his clients with complementary aftercare advice. When his regular clients were reluctantly needing to switch to another practitioner because they were now expecting mums, he took the initiative to qualify in Pregnancy Massage and can now offer continuity of their care from antenatal to postnatal.
In his practice, Lorenzo adopts a wide range of soft tissue techniques including soft tissue release, deep tissue friction, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and assisted stretching. He combines his two specialised modalities to provide a tailored treatment experience that leaves his client's feeling physically and emotionally healthier.
