The menu pays homage to classic Greek street food with meze platters, spanakopita, fried olives, grilled haloumi and fresh oysters. Groups of 15 or more people can even order a whole pig or lamb on a spit for the table. There are Greek mythology-themed cocktails including the Aphrodite, a floral kiss from the goddess of love, and the Apollo, a perfect summery citrus refreshment for the god of music and sun.

The olive-tree-lined eatery sits on the site of the old Bayswater Brassiere which was ultimate high-end dining hangout in the eighties until its closure in Late last year, Melbourne got its own slice of the Mediterranean when the refurbished Golden Fleece bar opened.
