Visitors can enjoy a cocktail under a light-filled courtyard adorned with palm trees and wicker light pendants that flows into a grotto-like enclave with decorated with curved wall recesses, traditional-style ceramics and a melted candle wax ceiling.

The menu pays homage to classic Greek street food with meze platters, spanakopita, fried olives, grilled haloumi and fresh oysters. Groups of 15 or more people can even order a whole pig or lamb on a spit for the table. There are Greek mythology-themed cocktails including the Aphrodite, a floral kiss from the goddess of love, and the Apollo, a perfect summery citrus refreshment for the god of music and sun.

By day it is a calm and atmospheric bar and by the evening it is a late-night Mykonos-inspired party venue with playful cocktails, bottle service and DJs. The olive-tree-lined eatery sits on the site of the old Bayswater Brassiere which was ultimate high-end dining hangout in the eighties until its closure in Late last year, Melbourne got its own slice of the Mediterranean when the refurbished Golden Fleece bar opened.
