The Ontario government and federal government provide this money. Through one OSAP application, you have access to a mix of different financial aid programs, depending on your circumstances.
If you apply for OSAP, you are automatically considered for grants too. When you apply for Full-time OSAP, you are automatically considered for all provincial and federal loans and grants. You must apply once per academic year. We recommend that you apply at least 3 months before the start of your study period to avoid delays with your funding. Did you know that you can decline the loans and opt for the grant funding only? This ensures your application will be reviewed as soon as we are able.
Find out how to submit documents. Part-time OSAP only covers the cost of tuition, books and day-care costs if applicable. Unlike, full-time OSAP it does not cover living expenses. It is important to check whether your program is eligible before you apply.
