We aim to build an archive of 22 OTU that will become a resource for families and researchers alike, by copying original material, particularly log books and photographs.
Thank you. The tables of pupils the courses have been compiled using the surnames on the surviving course photographs and occasional mentions in the unit's Operations Record Book. We have added initials by working through lists of various crews and making educated guesses, so some mistakes are inevitable.
We are indebted to Bill Chorley, who has allowed us to make use of his excellent "Bomber Command Losses" series of books and we have used them extensively. We hope to identify further airmen from the various Bomber Command squadron records. If you can add something to what we know about these airmen, please send us an email.
