Being an IHG members since years this was the most awful experience. The hotel is under renovation which was not informed prior to the booking, I only got to know when I checked into the hotel. After raising this concern with front desk I was informed that the hotel is under renovation , the room shown in the picture is not available. This was on 16th April Sunday and I was not late for the breakfast, well in time.
To my surprise I was told that in the restaurant they only have some snacks available. I again went to front desk and they suggested ordering food from outside. If you are not fully functional then you shouldn't be taking bookings during the renovation period. You have no right to spoil someone's vacation plan that too when you are accompanying with kids.
