Boris Herrmann started his professional offshore sailing career in as the youngest participant in the Mini Transat race. Since then, he has circumnavigated the world 6 times. After launching the new Malizia — Seaexplorer in , he finished 3rd with his Team Malizia in The Ocean Race, winning two legs, and breaking the hour distance record.
These partners, ranging from the logistics industry, to insurance, to banking band behind Team Malizia to support its campaign, each of them working towards sustainability projects in their own field to innovate around climate solutions. Through the My Ocean Challenge programme, his Team Malizia also educates children around the world about the Ocean and climate change.

My foil rake ram ripped off the foil on the port side. I managed to fix it on a fixed rake now. Naturally, it felt as good as seeing the Albatross just after.
To sum up, fixed rake on port is a small handicap now but we can continue. We are trailing along here with this front and we seemed to be pretty much on the edge of it, but therefore the conditions are unstable a bit and between 13 and 20kts of wind, average about 15kts, not easy to be fast all the time. We do what we can. We had a good night, no sail changes, and all is well on board. The distance with the leaders will change dramatically, they will gain a lot. I am alone again.
The sea is a little bit short and stubby, no so much to report. The front pack?
