The sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women will take place from 10 to 21 March The main focus of the sixty-ninth session will be on the review and appraisal of the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and the outcomes of the 23rd special session of the General Assembly.
The review will include an assessment of current challenges that affect the implementation of the Platform for Action and the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of women and its contribution towards the full realization of the Agenda for Sustainable Development. Due to space constraints, the numbers of attendees to CSW sessions should be kept to a minimum and should not exceed 20 representatives per organization. If you have additional questions, please contact csw unwomen. Please be advised that the United Nations does not charge fees for participation in the Commission on the Status of Women sessions.
Such arrangements and costs are the exclusive responsibility of participants. Arrangements for the session may be subject to change at any time in response to the global health situation.
