We know life happens and that sometimes you need a helping hand to work through challenges, like with basic needs, that would make it difficult to be successful in college. Through direct service, referral and coordination with outside agencies and resources, we will help you to gain access, information, and support to address specific needs and gain self-sufficiency.
Schedule an Appointment. The basic needs resource hub provides SCTCC students access to basic needs resources and support available on campus and in the community via phone, text, or chat 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to connect you with the resources and information you need. Your call is completely confidential, and they have call menus in English, Spanish, and Hmong. Interpreters are also available for any language.

Bridge to Benefits is a web based screening tool that assesses your eligibility for public benefits that can ease financial stress. The Student Support Manager can help you navigate this screening tool and connect to a wide range of public benefits that you may be eligible to receive.
SCTCC Emergency grants are available for situations when you urgently need funds for housing, food, medical needs, utilities, technology or transportation. Contact the Student Support Manager to learn about eligibility criteria.
