LMPD 4th Division: LMPD 5th Division: LMPD 6th Division: Metro Safe: or CM Mulvihill's mother, the late Mary Margaret Mulvihill, was remembered for her contributions as elected official, public servant, and advocate, by having her portrait unveiled in Frankfort today along with six other Kentucky Women Remembered by the Kentucky Commission on Woman of the Office of the Governor, headed up by the Lieutenant Governor, Jacqueline Coleman.
The portraits unveiled today will be placed with the other Kentucky Women Remembered portraits in the West Hall of the State Capitol building. The event will feature more than 60 individual displays in themed areas depicting nature, coral reefs and Chinese mythology. Select area highlights include a blooming morning glory corridor, a foot-tall octopus and a walk-through phoenix tunnel. Interactive lanterns invite guests to enhance the experience by powering lantern movements, competing in games and more.
This night immersive event features live cultural performances including Chinese folk dances, acrobatics and more. There will also be unique handcrafted goods available for purchase along with snacks and cocktails. The event is wheelchair and stroller-friendly on a paved path. The festival is a rain or shine event and will be held 7 to 10 p. Thursday through Sunday nights from March 23 to May Tickets are available for purchase in advance online only , and children under three do not require a ticket.
Not only do we feed our students and their families at Camp Taylor and Audubon Traditional Elementary Schools, we also have a food pantry in front of the school to feed the community. Our shelves are bare, and I am worried about having enough food to feed our students and their families during Spring Break. Our pantry is usually stocked through Dare to Care, but the food goes so quickly. Our homeless demographic has doubled from last school year.
