Oscar Julian Infante, 42, from Colombia, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony. On Monday, an officer with the Utah Division of Investigations arranged a narcotics operation at the state liquor store near South and West. The officer had received information that two Hispanic men in a blue Honda van with black wheels and tinted windows would be delivering a large amount of fentanyl pills, the affidavit states.
The officer saw the men in the van pull into the parking lot next to his bait vehicle, a white Nissan. Additionally, the "source providing the information" confirmed the van had arrived, the affidavit states.
