Have stayed previously at this location and try and stay here whenever possible. The hotel was convenient, clean, friendly staff, great location. Breakfast was fantastic. The room was quiet. We had a great stay. We have stayed here several times in the past because it is an excellent value. The rooms are always clean, the pool and hot tub are very nice, the breakfast is good It took twenty minutes to check in.
The girl did not have a clue. Went to room ,the key card would not work. Got new key went into room sat down on the throne, and in walks a family of three. They ran out. Front desk apologized and said there would be a discount for all the inconvenience.
Went to check out next morning Went to check out next morning the fellow made a mistake an could not get me a bill. I wish they would have had a coffee maker in the room. Also we were unable to use the WiFiat all and did call the front desk twice.
Truthfully the hotel was OK, but little things added up to make it a place I wouldn't visit again. First, it's fairly dated. It was clean and the rooms were very large, but it was on the edge of town kind of near nothing.
Wifi was somewhat unreliable. But the breakfast was the worst part. I'm told it was just mini muffins and juice, and the room had no tea or coffee, b I'm told it was just mini muffins and juice, and the room had no tea or coffee, but it didn't matter since the breakfast is over at NINE in the morning.. There are several other hotels in Eau Claire near this price, and while his is the lowest of them, you get what you pay for.
