With a front moving through the area as the day goes on, we will only gain a handful of degrees as we peak just over 40 degrees. Winds will also pick up with gusts up to 35 miles per hour out of the north late in the morning and through the afternoon.
There will be intervals of sunshine and clouds, though we will likely see more clouds than sunshine. Tuesday gives us more consistent cloud cover and a northeast breeze, helping to hold our temps back to near 30 degrees for highs.
Expect similar temps on Wednesday with clouds firmly in place; however, we will also have the potential for spotty freezing drizzle. The highest chance comes from mid-morning through the early afternoon. While impacts look low at this time, this will be worth watching as any amount of icing can cause issues. While we get a little more mild for Thursday and Friday, that means upper 30s for highs, much more seasonal than we have had in recent weeks.
