Kill Pharah, Mercy revives her. Kill Mercy? So sick and tired of this combo. It has plagued this game for forever and I have no idea why the devs are so opposed to solving it. If they do its after 3 more reworks so its at least 5 years away and by that time they will have added 10 worse things. It really should be a good counter to flying enemies, not just people 5 feet off the ground. I have an unpopular theory on Mercy. Possibly by acknowledging the full extent of these mostly fatal attractions, she might be in a type of open-relationship.
Because her heart is truly open to everyone. In the last short story, if I remember right, Pharah calls Mercy by her real name and gets pretty emotional when thinking about herβ¦. There are many ways to fix it. Limiting how long Mercy can damage boost and heal characters that are not on the ground would not destroy Mercy, even though her players seem to think it would.
The first problem is that pharah mercy is a mid-tier issue, not much of a high tier issue. Personally, playing both Pharah and Mercy. I really just need to play smart and the healing my other supports offer is more than enough. Lucio, Brig, Moira, Ana, Kiriko, and Zen is more than sufficient healing to get stuff done on Pharah and be annoying as crap. Stay with your team. Make some off angles.
Do some grounded Pharah shenanigans with your giant AoE. Get some choice concussion blasts to mess up enemy escapes or pursuits. Do some short range flanking on say Rialto with only thrusters alone. Pharah is a menace in my opinion without Mercy even in play because keeping the tight team play is still powerful in its own right and you can get healing support from your other supports this way.
