I went to Kona Grill today with a first date from a dating app, and well, the drinks are a little beyond what I want to spend on, especially when you're doing this multiple times and not knowing when there's a compatibility potential for a second date with someone. Is there a decent dive kind of bar, that doesn't charge a lot for drinks, but also not too rundown and divey if you know what I mean, in the Meridian area that you'd recommend.
Quiet place as well. Coffee doesn't work too well for me for first dates I'm sure I'll get all kinds of comments relating to or not relating a specific place recommendation, so I'm ready for these. Not sure about Meridian, but 10th Street Station in the basement of the Idanha in downtown Boise is a good choice.
