I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. We believe that all people are uniquely made in the image of God, and we aim to live this out in the Church and in our communities.
The climate emergency is one of the most pressing concerns in the world today, but it is not merely a secular one. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Justice that enables everyone, and all creation, to flourish. Justice that removes everything that diminishes people, that oppresses or exploits them. Justice that enables us all to grow in relationship with each other and with God.

We're starting new kinds of communities exploring God together. In Merrylee Primary School in Glasgow, Roots of Empathy and Action for Children offer sessions to help children to increase their empathy and recognise their emotions. Opened in , Baby Basics Doncaster is based in Sprotbrough Methodist Church and provides items to facilitate the first days of a new born.
The volunteers liaise with partners to provide clothing and essentials for the babies and their mothers. Bowthorpe Road Methodist Church in Norwich is getting ready to celebrate the Lunar New Year with its local community, an occasion for the Chinese members to share their culture with the Norvicians. In the South West Peninsula District, Ali and a passionate team of local volunteers are building a Christian community around love, care and answering the needs of the people in the area.
