I am wondering if anyone has had experience with this course, or if it is a good value. Ive seen most youtubers sell courses, but they cant all be good lol.
I paid for it. Idk about some of that stuff, but he does have some pretty good aggressive tactics to get business going. Creating 10 fake NextDoor accounts so you can keep bumping your posts? Next doors pockets are being stacked. Seems he has found a way around it. Wrong is wrong in my book. NextDoor is a social community app to help neighbors connect, not something to be manipulated and spammed for profit and self-promotion.
A little context; my wife is an admin on NextDoor, who sees this stuff all the time. For me, at the end of the day, keeping a clean pardon the pun conscience over a few extra bucks is worth more to me. I think being honest and direct with the customer is the best rule. Would you tell your customers you have 10 NextDoor accounts? No way! The content isnt that great. I agree with PureCleanNW. When you voluntarily create an account with NextDoor, you agree to their standards of conduct.
Creating 10 accounts to misuse their intended purpose of accounts? Probably not illegal, but unethical by dictionary definition, very shady at best. In short, everybody loses and gets hurt. There is a fine line between going the extra mile to build your business and bringing unfair competition to the industry. Fair enough, you are right it is somewhat ethical.
However on the scale of things I have seen much worse. Consciences get eased over time. I encourage not to start your business model this way. As for NextDoor, they have thousands upon thousands of volunteer moderators looking for this type of stuff. I know what sticks in my community, im in an over saturated and to stand out I deliver exceptional customer service and try to always go above and beyond for the customer.
