Was it a good idea? Do I regret it? Definitely not. Didn't hear another peep - one of the very few providers I've ever seen who didn't want at least a confirmation message before we met.
I show up to Moulin Rouge and am greeted by an absolute wall of staff - at least six guys I counted - and also noted holy shit, there are a LOT of shoes out here. I haven't been to the shop since November but it definitely seems they're doing a brisk business. The price increase at MR from to base is fairly recent - start of June - so I'm unsure if they did it out of force of habit or had just run out of small bills at the moment, they didn't say anything and I didn't either. The waiting room is really crowded and everyone sits in chairs lining the walls of the room so everyone is sort of awkwardly looking in at the middle and avoiding making eye contact with each other.
Most are locals but there's another foreigner there and I note the staff calls for him in English when they get him. At about 5 minutes after the turn of the hour my name is called and I'm brought out to meet Ayano.
