Kee En Chong will be working with the Human Trafficking Legal Center to secure justice for human trafficking survivors. He also served as a prosecutor in Singapore, where he specialized in prosecuting homicide, violent crimes and serious sexual offenses.
He graduated from Georgetown University B. Sandhya completed internships with the U. Department of State and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance on projects related to routine immunization and sexual and reproductive health.
Sandhya will spend her fellowship year with Khushi Baby, a nonprofit in Rajasthan, India, where she will work on efforts to roll out the human papillomavirus vaccine for the prevention of cervical cancer.
She will work on educating community health workers and on developing partnerships to increase awareness and availability of the vaccine. Each fellow has developed a yearlong project in collaboration with a host organization that aims to advance justice and human rights. The Gruber Program Fellowships are a university-wide program, established to support projects and graduates and recent alums from all YLS graduate and professional schools.
Isabelle will advance the workplace rights of pregnant workers, parents, and caregivers in New York City, with a particular focus on low-wage and immigrant workers. Isabelle's project will involve community education, direct representation, and policy advocacy—all aimed at supporting pregnant and caregiving workers as they combat pregnancy and care giver discrimination and defend their rights at work.
