Student Resources Teach for Us! Younger students interested in taking saxophone lessons can learn recorder or flutophone. They can also learn piano. Usually kids are about 8 when they can start flute, or clarinet lessons. Supplementing the lessons with piano is always beneficial. As the student grows, they can then try saxophone lessons.
You can choose from band material, jazz soloing and even classical musi!! We also offer lessons for audition, allstate, and school band prep. Do you want a beautiful clarinet tone? Do you want to improve you fingering, speed and dexterity on the clarinet? We have several clarinet teachers who will help you with your band parts, solo performances, and overall improvement on your clarinet.
Our instructors are proficient in different musical styles and can accommodate a variety of interests and goals. What makes our approach unique is that our students begin learning about all aspects of saxophone playing from the start, including improvisation, arranging, note reading, and music theory.
Private music lessons generally start at age 6 and up! Lessons are open enrollment, meaning you can start at any point of the month, and are offered Mondays through Saturdays. Additionally, we have an incentive-based Music Mastery Achievement system, a rock band program, choral group opportunities, and more! Now is the perfect time to learn an instrument!
