Cooling mists drift in from the Pacific Ocean only 15 miles away making this a perfect place to grow grapes. And Pacific breezes bless Temecula with crisp, clean air and miles of visibility. Just on the outskirts of wine country, a rustic winding country dirt road led us to a twenty-foot wrought iron and mahogany gateโthe entrance to Tuscan Temecula Hideaway.
Upon entering a code in the keypad, the gate slowly opened as a welcoming beacon for our memorable weekend visit. A picturesque palm-fringed driveway up a hill lead to the lovely home. The Blakes, who live in San Diego loved their weekend getaways to wine country. When a bank-owned property suddenly became available here, they purchased the home.
Being in the construction industry, Blake was confident he could handle the much-needed renovations for what once was only a two-bedroom home. The roomy master-bedroom suite has a king-sized bed and walk-in closet.
A spacious tiled master bath includes a soaking tub, separate shower, toilet area and twin sinks. A side door from the bedroom leads to a lovely expansive backyard with stepping stone walkways. Two additional bedrooms just down the hall from the master suite sport queen beds and a shared bath with a shower-tub combination. A fourth bedroom off the living room has two extra-long twin beds. Each room is tastefully decorated carrying out the Tuscan wine theme.
