Love is in the air as Fargo couples begin making their Valentines plans. I figured I would take a trip around Fargo and find a few perfect spots for different date ideas. My first stop is perfect for a nice lunch, a little more casual then a fancy dinner but just as meaningful.
My order did not take long and it allowed for the perfect opportunity for conversion. I ordered a classic grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was absolutely delicious. While eating I looked around and noticed how the Roseys has taken on a more modern meets hipster type style that looks very aesthetically pleasing. This restaurant is perfect for a casual but classy lunch date with your perfect date. If a lunch date is too much for you, another great place to visit is The Silver Lining Creamery.
Silver Lining is a newly opened ice cream shop in Downtown Fargo, perfect for a simple date. Silver Lining offers a very cozy spot, not too loud and perfect of enjoying some unique ice cream flavors.
Every two weeks on Sunday the ice cream shop changes their flavors giving you new options to enjoy. The store is not very large giving it the perfect intimate feel but nothing too extreme. Although the weather is cold ice cream is a yearlong favorite for many. I would recommend visiting later in the evening s o as you sit by the large open windows, you can look out at Downtown Broadway and see the lit-up road giving it a romantic feel.
Finally, if you are looking for a beautiful night out with your special someone the best place Fargo can offer is Toscana. The service is tremendous and are quick with getting your food prepared and back to you in a timely manner. Not to mention the menu selection was quite large, but it was a little pricey.
