WTXL - Two men and two women have been arrested for prostitution as a result of an undercover operation in the Tallahassee area. On Friday, undercover investigators were working on an undercover prostitution operation in the area of I and Monroe Street. Investigators said the aim of the operation was to reduce street level prostitution activity in Tallahassee.
All four suspects were contacted through an advertisement found on the internet that had indicators of being associated with prostitution activity. Documents say undercover officers met the suspects at an undisclosed hotel at different times and, after establishing probable cause, took the suspects into custody.
Laflower is being charged with soliciting prostitution and and conspiracy to commit petit theft. Mata is being charged with soliciting, inducing, enticing, or procuring another to commit prostitution and resist arrest without violence. Bodison is being charged with offering, or agree to secure another for the purpose of prostitution.
Williams is being charged with felony prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia. All four were taken to the Leon County Detention Facility for their charges. Laflower, Mata, and Bodison have all bonded out.
