I'm a French expatriate in Thailand so I'm not too lacking haha. I want to get out of my Asian comfort zone haha. I really like black people, I'm interested in Gambia and I've read the whole forum from the beginning as well as other forums!. I really want to go there in January or February I know all of Asia very well but I know nothing about Africa and I read that Gambia is the place to start in Africa, that crime is a little lower there than in the rest of Africa, except I'm a beginner, I'm well aware of it and I'm curious by nature.
I like the idea that Gambia is a country for westerners starting out in Africa. Maybe that's what motivates me and interests me. I'm up for doing a little test for science. I also thank all the excellent contributors who for many years have fascinated us with their stories and adventures that I have read carefully. I have two questions essentially. One on accommodation and the other on immigration as a French person in Gambia. I read that calabash residence was girl friendly: is this still the case?
And do they have safety boxes? I wrote to them but no answer for the moment. My second question: as a French person is it true that I can enter Gambia for 2 weeks only, poor French diplomacy and the visa will be done easily at the airport without needing any other formalities?
