I work fifteen minutes away from home by bus. I live in a big city, and I thought I had enough time to get to the bus stop to get to work, but as I was walking up to it, I saw the bus very close by, I ran to the stop, and the bus went right by. I sighed and checked my phone for the next bus and saw that it was twenty minutes away. That was enough time for me to be late, so I begrudgingly started to order a rideshare. Confused, I looked around as a car pulled up with the windows down.
A girl inside was putting on a face mask. I hopped in. Within the short time I was in her car, we exchanged names, and she told me about a time when she was in my position. A lady picked her up to take her to the next stop, but that lady was a scientologist who was trying to recruit her. We laughed at the story, and she got me to my bus stop, where I quickly hopped out and got onto the bus just as the door was about to close.
