Welcome and thank you for taking an interest in massage therapy. Let me introduce myself My office is located at E. I specialize in therapeutic massage. I have completed a hour program fyi the local massage school program on E. Thousand Oaks Blvd is only hours as well as taking the voluntary extra step of passing the nationally recognized MBLEx exam. Becoming a massage therapist was one of the best decisions of my life.
Previously I had worked in corporate america and had studied Business Administration at a local university. I love getting them, giving them, reading about them, watching them, I love the lotions, essential oils While I was in massage school I noticed a certain curiosity within myself and I naturally gravitated to certain rehabilitative modalities.
Then I began my career working along side a chiropractor who specialized in personal injury cases. The clients I saw on a weekly basis gradually found greater ease of movement and a richer quality of life. One client in particular was in so much pain they could hardly tolerate a gentle touch. Yet at the end of the eight week session plan they were able to tolerate some deep tissue massage techniques incorporated into their sessions.
This new found freedom from pain translated into the rest of their life as well. It makes my day when my massage clients walk out of my office feeling better and refreshed.
I am profoundly fascinated and astounded by the human body every day. The power of touch is incredible.
