A suspect in connection with a stabbing in Richmond early Tuesday morning has been arrested. Richmond police responded to a call in the block of NW 6th Street about 2am Tuesday.
Police discovered a male victim with a stab wound to his back after a reported altercation and was taken to Reid Health in stable condition. Junkin was booked in the Wayne County Jail and charged with battery with a deadly weapon. In October, Junkin was charged with battery resulting in bodily injury to a person less than 14 years-old after striking a 4 year-old girl in the face.
